Pre-Construction & Groundworks Support

Upon receipt of the 10% deposit or a site visit nominal fee (later deducted from court order), Dolan PCI will allocate a dedicated technical representative to the project.

​

From this stage, our technician will liaise directly with the Client's appointed groundworks contractor and/or construction team, providing technical guidance throughout the preparation of the site for the padel courts.

​

This support will include:

• Review of court positioning, dimensions and site set-out

• Provision and review of the required groundworks and foundation drawings

• Liaison with the Client's contractor throughout the groundworks programme

• Technical guidance regarding ring beams, foundations, drainage, ducting and electrical requirements

• Review of finished levels, tolerances and court falls

• Site visits by Dolan PCI at key stages of the groundworks

• Identification of any issues or deviations before the court installation commences

• Final inspection of the prepared court area prior to installation

The purpose of this process is to ensure that the groundworks are completed fully in accordance with Dolan PCI's technical requirements and to our satisfaction before installation of the courts begins.

Correct ground preparation is fundamental to the long-term performance of a padel court. In particular, drainage, levels, foundations and surface preparation are every bit as important as the specification and quality of the padel court itself.

The Client may appoint its own preferred groundworks contractor. Alternatively, Dolan PCI can arrange for contractors with whom we have previously worked to be invited to tender for the project.

Regardless of which contractor is ultimately appointed, Dolan PCI will apply the same technical monitoring and inspection process throughout the groundworks stage.
